In April the room was on the 10th floor and June the 16th floor.īoth times the rooms were adequate. Both times we had a standard double queen room.
We stayed in the Grand Pequot Tower at Foxwoods in April 21 and June 21. The staff members were working fast and hard but could not keep up with the amount of customers. TIP: Eat dinner early, the only thing open at night is a Dunkin Donuts with very long lines and understaffed. WIFI was spotty and often we could not send/get messages or connect to the internet.Įvery guest temperature is monitored at every entry point with wireless thermometers. Hmm, so I guess overnight guests pay for the WIFI of every patron in the entire resort, including those who come for the day. I asked what the fee was for and was told WIFI. Hotel resort fees cost almost as much as the room with no use of the pool or gym because of the pandemic. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spacious. My children who are now young adults told me that they used to be scared by those images as children and they find it to have been culturally inappropriate.
There used to be Native American Indian statues hiding in the trees. It used to have a very tacky color scheme. I was pleasantly surprised with the beautiful remodeling of the décor. I used to come here often, but have not been back in 6 years.
